WASC Accreditation Visit

We are excited to welcome the Visiting Team representing WASC to our campuses beginning Sunday, October 15 through Wednesday, October 18.  

A site visit team of educational leaders, representing Western Association of Schools and Colleges, will review our self-study that the school conducted over the past 15 months. The culmination is a lengthy report that responds to the standards and prompts WASC has developed as essential to quality education. This process is primarily about self-assessment towards continuous improvement.  Redlands Christian has embraced that approach. The accreditation cycle, typically every six years, provides an opportunity for our whole community to be involved, including parent representatives, in the development of the self study, capturing the school's strengths as well as areas needing improvement.  

While the site visit team is on campus, they will meet with the various committees of faculty, staff and parents who helped to develop the self study report.  They will visit classes, meet with teachers, talk with administrators, and get a real sense of what makes RCS tick.
