Upper School Sports

The mission of Redlands Christian Athletics is to achieve Christ-centered
excellence in a competitive athletic environment to advance God’s Kingdom. 

High school memories are often created on the playing fields. Arrowhead Christian provides a broad, quality program of athletics for a student that builds a foundation for all of life. ACA offers more than 20 different sports teams at the high school level.

Transformative Principles

These transformative principles are the pillars on which the athletic department aligns with the athletic mission and the mission of the school: 

PLAYING WITH PURPOSE

Competing with the purpose of worship, honor, and glory to God. “So whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”   1 Corinthians 10:31 

PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE

Dedication to the pursuit of playing to the highest of standards that God calls us. “Whatever you do, work at it all with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.  It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”  Colossians 3:23-24 

CHRIST-LIKE CHARACTER

Reflecting Christ in every interaction and every decision. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility, value others yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you in the interest of others.”  Philippians 2: 3-4 

RELENTLESS EFFORT

Striving to maximize God-given abilities for the betterment of the team. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”  James 1:17
