Lower School News

Weekly Eagle News - Lower School

Dear Lower School Parents,

Thank you for the many well wishes for my birthday. God has truly blessed me with amazing families, faculty and staff to call friends!

Our Veteran’s Day celebration was a nice chapel last week. Amanda Barr’s third grade class wonderfully shared ways we can respect and honor our veterans and our country. Our chapel was enhanced by the presence of our many veterans and by the slideshow Mrs. Wagner put together sharing portraits of many veterans related to our students. Hopefully, they were blessed as our students were able to thank them for their service.

Thank you for your generosity towards the Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families in Redlands. Baskets will be wrapped this Thursday, November 14, and delivered to Redlands Family Services.

One more thank you…Thanks for sharing your recycle items! The proceeds will provide for our events this year. Our next collection will be Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Lost and Found has grown again. Please check the rack upstairs by the computer lab.

God bless you!

Mr. J

Holiday Camps/Extended Care
Are you planning to utilize extended care at RCS over the holidays? Please take a moment and complete the information on this LINK so that we may plan accordingly. Be sure to take note of the specific registration deadline dates for each camp.

Turkey Trotting with RCS - We welcome the entire RCS Community to trot through Redlands on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28, in support of Youth Hope. The annual Redlands Turkey Trot is a wonderful event for families to show community support and get a little exercise. One of the Race Charities is Youth Hope; a terrific organization that provides services to homeless youth in the area. The RCS community has partnered with Youth Hope in the past during service days and this is another great opportunity to show support. Although the Turkey Trot registration comes with a t-shirt, we encourage the RCS community to wear the special one we have created....and it's FREE (with race registration confirmation). Click HERE for details. You must submit your registration by Wednesday, November 13 in order to be guaranteed a RCS tee shirt.

Parent/Student Handbook
